by Matt Loede , NFL Gridiron Gab With the success of rookie coaches around the league in 2008, you know that it’s not going to take much for owners to look out there and make quicker moves this offseason and try to grab the next hot assistant to come aboard and change around their teams problems. The teams that very well could be looking for a new head coach in just over a month are as follows: St.Louis Rams Oakland Raiders Detroit Lions San Francisco 49′ers Seattle Seahawks (even though they say Jim Mora Jr. will take over) And of course there is always a surprise firing or coach that simply decides he’s had enough and walks away

With close wins, the Jets and Vikings both jump up 6 spots. Ok, so the Jets win wasn’t so close. But the Vikes won a critical divisional game against the Packers, who fell 10 spots with the loss.

This past Monday, I posted an item on ESPN not being necessarily happy with the selection of the 49ers-Cardinals game for Week Eleven, and added that I didn’t even know why they would pick such a game. A few people wrote in and asked me exactly how the games were selected, and I replied with a wishy washy answer about how teams put in requests and the NFL decided who to put where

Coming into Sunday’s game at Lambeau Field, both the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers are reeling from losses that really shouldn’t have been. The Bears missed several opportunities to end the winning ways of the Tennessee Titans, while two safeties and a missed 52-yarder spelled doom for the Pack against Minnesota.
